How many years did you attend Gordon School?
Ten years, from Preschool to eighth grade

How did your Gordon experience shape who you are today?

At Gordon, I learned to question everything and to look at concepts beyond their face value. I learned to appreciate nature, spending time outdoors everyday. I learned that creativity and empathy can be brought to any experience, and I learned that adults are human beings, thank you Mr. Kravitz!

What is your fondest memory of your Gordon experience?

Every moment I spent with my friends and classmates exploring the nature trail, learning about the ecosystems at work in the pond and walking along the creek.

Is there something at Gordon that you hope never changes?
The expansiveness of the school’s campus, particularly the unlimited outdoor space, and all the hidden nooks in the library and classrooms. Also, the spirit that permeates the school--one that is full of creativity and comfort.

How would you describe the work you are doing today?
I am working on a theory that the next stage of human evolution consists of an increase in our empathic response. Sustainable energy and green technology provide the tools for world peace, but empathy will provide the motivation.
