Over winter break, Gordon learned that Helen West Cooke, the school's founder (and an acomplished photographer) had several of her photographs published in Things Girls Like to Do.

 

The book was published as part of the Uplift Vocational Series in 1917, the same year that Gordon's first class graduated.
