The third of three "This I Believe" essays featuring Gordon students aired Wednesday, December 14th at 6:35am, 8:35am and 5:45pm
on
Rhode Island Public Radio.
Their writing was initially done as a seventh grade humanities assignment, and many of them were also read aloud at the assembly on the final day of school in June.
The recording sessions at WRNI included expert coaching from the series' curator Frederick Reamer, and a tour of the studios.
For the record, the students who read for WRNI believe in the right to not be opinionated, in the earth and its heartbeat, and in not being embarrassed to be who they are.
