Athletics assemblies are held near or at the end of each season to
honor student participation in this interscholastic program. Awards are
presented at this assembly.
Two kinds of awards are presented at Athletic
Assemblies: A Most Improved Player honoring student-athletes who
demonstrated exceptional personal growth and skill development
throughout the season, and a Coaches' Award honoring student-athletes
who best exemplified the stated goals of the athletic program. A Most Valuable Player is not
awarded at this assembly. As courtesy, parents of student-athletes
receiving an award are notified in advance of the assembly.
