Testing requirements
	For admission Scores must be no more than 5 years old SAT composite score of 1150 or GRE composite score of 1100 or Praxis I math minimum score of 179 reading minimum score of 179 writing minimum score of 177   For certification Praxis II Elementary Content Knowledge Test (0014 or 5014) 120 multiple choice questions focusing on the four major subject areas (reading/language arts, math, social studies, and science), minimum score 145 and Praxis II Elementary Content Area Exercise (0012) Four 30 minute exercises pose teaching scenarios/case studies requiring extended written responses, minimum score 148   For more information about the Praxis Test including test preparation, dates, and testing locations, see www.ets.org   It is recommended that applicants take Elementary Content Knowledge (0014 or 5014) before beginning the program, and take Elementary Content Area Exercises (0012) before they graduate.   These requirements are subject to changes in Rhode Island state regulations.
