Why is the Annual Fund important?
Annual Fund gifts are essential. They fuel the education provided at Gordon, which endows children with an extraordinary foundation for their future life experiences.
Does my participation make a difference?
Corporations, foundations and other donors of Gordon look first at voluntary support provided by Gordon’s community before deciding at which level they will support our school. A high rate of participation from Gordon’s community is critical. Every gift makes a difference, no matter the amount!
What does the Annual Fund support?
Endowment: Since 2003, 5% of the Annual Fund is invested in Gordon’s endowment, helping build the asset which will support the school in perpetuity.
Operating Budget: The operating budget supports all of the people and programs at Gordon—faculty salaries, financial aid, general administration, facilities and programming.
Strategic Initiatives: These initiatives include financial aid, endowment, faculty professional development and Gordon’s greatest need, as determined by the Board of Trustees each year. Donors can select one of these initiatives for Annual Fund support.
