Gators and YAP are the core of the after school programs, covering all of the grades, every day that the school building is open.
Gators offers Early Childhood and Lower School students an opportunity to play with their classmates, and students in different grades, in a fun, safe, supervised environment. The Gators room, between the Lower School and Early Childhood, serves as Gators headquarters, the Kindergarten playground is reserved for Gators use each afternoon, and the Nelson Field House gets heavy use from this crew as well.
Young Adult Place brings Middle School students together in a supervised setting where they can participate in making decisions on how best to use their time. On any given afternoon, YAP students may be found in the Joukowsky Family Library, at the air hockey table, baking in the kitchen, out on the fields or in the Middle School well.
