Gordon School

Meet the faculty

Each member of the Gordon faculty is an expert on child development and a skilled facilitator of learning. Building on the cornerstone of a demanding, integrated and thematic curriculum, students learn how to research information, explore and express ideas, and problem solve as individuals as part of a team.
Aware of the role that gender and race play in learning, Gordon teachers create explicit opportunities for children to recognize the importance of keeping everyone's voice in the center of the learning experience. Even as they discover their own voices and eagerly assert their place in the community, Gordon students develop an awareness of how to listen to and respect the opinions and ideas of their classmates.
Perhaps the greatest gift Gordon teachers can pass on to their students is the understanding that learning is a life-long adventure.
